I have installed the beta version of Invision Power's new live chat service on the forums.

It is a feature for gold members only. If it proves to be popular, it will be kept as a permanent benefit of  Gold Membership.

If you encounter any bugs, please post them here. I will pass them on to IPS if necessary.

yep i used it working very quickly
but still i can see my messages only
because no one is found in the chat

No one ever uses it, when im on NTN im in the chat, but no one else is so im talking to my self............... hum hum, LOL!

I think it might be worth it to organize chat events. Any ideas?

Yeah, that's a good idea. Maybe you can organise them with a theme. So let's say, on ../../.. at ..:.. GMT, the chat sessions goes about c++, so everyone who got questions about that, may ask them then.

Heh, chat rooms won't really work on a forum like this - there aren't enough people online at one time. I blame the hosting for this lol, it all makes sense why

Hosting -> person signs up at forum -> apply -> he has what he wants now so he buggers off onto twitter never to be seen again

Mostly user don't come here after getting the hosting account
or come when they get any problem in hosting
thats why the user don't come on to the forum

but if we compare other forums which are providing hosting through forums
they have the inactivity period or have monthly posts
therefore users have to come there.
