the only difference is that, that it has a full touchscreen, it is very hard to handle while your on the go... and it is not so small as i have thought it would have been...
Here is an interesting link to see what Ipad looks like..:

Im looking into getting JooJoo, formally Crunchpad. Everything's expected to go open source, so i can start tinkering everything about it easily. No more closed os. Plus it has a huge screen xD
The Ipad is an enlarged Iphone(have one) and in my opinion, i do not ever see this progressing into the buisness world.
Now Microsoft courier and JooJoo sound promising.
JooJoo launches in a couple of weeks but i'm gonna wait couple of months as google has announced there developing a tablet as well. i guess they wanna jump into the market early this time.
Thats my opinion. What do you think DotMRT?

+ it doesnt even have any stand... so i also think that it wont be very successful.

But hey, they ARE cheap. I thought it was going for at least something like $599. The product received too much critiques because we expected too much from them.

The first version will not have a camera. Landscape homescreen... who cares about that. You wouldn't go buy it for that feature would you?:DBtw it is running the Iphone Os not the Ipod Touch, which is modified iphone os, stripping alot of the features :)The Ipad, in my opinion is rushed. It's apples way of securing a untouched and thriving market before it's competitors. The ipad wont get good till the next year. (Most likely will release a new version with the camera)

i know the ipod touch runs a modified verison of the iphone os. the ipad, iphone and ipod touch all run modified versions of the iphone os, if you understand what i mean. there has been some proof (somewhere - google it) that there is a camera in the ipad. i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
i think that flash could easily be included with the ipad as a firmware upgrade, as i think its capable of running it - apple probably wants to wait until 4.0 though so they can charge for it. also, have a look here: http://paulirish.com...k/gordon/demos/ someone made so sort of java thingy to run flash within safari on the iphone/ipod touch, although it's very laggy.

that does look good, but I think Apple will probably try and sue over the name, even though they don't own it (you know what they're like). it can only run linux or windows though - no OS X, again, Apple would sue.
