After three weeks of hardwork, a few thousand lines of codes, I proudly present Vitaku, an online shopping platform for my school. It's an idea thought of by one of my friends, who thought that students sometimes have too many materials that they don't need, but don't know how to get rid of. Sure there is eBay, but that's often too dangerous for students. So here it is, a platform for trading only within school, so it's easy and safe.
So, take a look at Vitaku: http://www.vitaku.net
I completely handcoded this project myself, so there might be bugs. Actually, no, there are bugs, but I need somebody to help me find them... There are some IE7 issues that I have yet to fix, and I believe the fonts placement don't look normal under Windows anti-alaising. I don't have a Windows machine with me at the moment, but will fix it right away when I have a chance to.
If anybody is interested in helping me beta-test, please register on the site, and reply/PM me to activate + change the email for you. Thanks!
BTW, yes, that's a shiny iPad video on there. I'll get it replaced after the real tutorial videos come out. Read some more about my site at my blog
Much thanks in advanced!

I like it. How portable is the script? I'd like to help test, but it requires a school email address to register. There's probably a good market for this, if your team was planning on licensing/releasing it.

Ah, you could have just registered as something@school.ics.edu.hk, that's what I meant by I'll change your email for you.
The script is... not very portable at the moment. Actually, other than the features I have mentioned in my blog, there's pretty much nothing much. There are way more features that I plan to add, and also a lot cleaning up work to do. But, doing something with the script is definitely on my schedule. I'm looking at asking other International schools in HK to join in the alliance, and eventually internationalization, or maybe just selling the script to let other people to internationalize it. Meh, that's kinda too far already.
I'll be happy to release the codes for some criticism and critique for the Gold Members, though.
