I have just upgraded the forums to version 2.1 of Invision Power Board. This has a lot of noticable upgrades that you'll see when browsing the forums. The most noticable upgrade would be the new post page. It has been changed signifigantly, although it may not be noticable at first. It now comes with a WYSIWYG editor, but it is turned off by default because it causes opera to stop working. To activate it go to My Controls --> Options --> Board Settings. Other things you may notice are: no member map, no who was online today list, and no points. These mods arn't compatible with IPB 2.1 yet, but they should be soon. And don't worry all the member map and points data is still there. You may also notice there is a new member group entitled "Gold Members" which I'll explain in another topic, since it's not quite finished.

Could you turn on fast reply? And isn't there also an inline edit with ipb 2.1? Could you turn that on too, unless it causes problems with opera too. Or did they take it out after the Beta 3 that I read had it?
EDIT: I figured out what it is. You need to add the inline edit link into the WHS skin. With it, edit takes you directly to the edit page. With the IPB default skin, it gives you a drop down menu to choose between quick and full edit. I just posted this edit using quick edit

I don't. But I seem to remember seeing a theme migration guide in the beta version I have...I'll see if I can find it and post back here.
I found a guide on updating skins at invisionthings.com. Here's the link: http://www.invisionskins.com/index.php?p=s...&cat=transition

Ok thanks, I have also put a support ticket into IPS to see if they can answer my question. For now I have turned on the IPB skin as default.
I have also added an RSS feed to the site (a new feature of 2.1) that will allow you to see the last 10 posts in a live bookmark, in browsers that support RSS (firefox and opera). To make the live bookmark click the orange RSS symbol in the bottom right corner of firefox, or in the address bar of opera.
